⏰ NYC Bias Audit Law: The Clock is Ticking for Employers and HR Talent Technology Vendors.

In less than a month, the New York City (NYC) Local Law 144, or NYC bias audit law, will go into effect. On April 15th, 2023, all companies that use automated employment decision tools in NYC must ensure that every AI tool that substantially assists or replaces a discretionary decision undergoes an annual bias audit by an independent auditor.

With a few weeks before this legislation takes effect, now is your last call to ensure your organization is ready and that you have all the tools needed to stay law-abiding.
